What is Amoxicillin?
Amoxicillin is an antibiotic that is used to fight bacterial infection in the body. It is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections such as ear infections, pneumonia, strep throat, and certain forms of penicillin-resistant staph. Amoxicillin can also be used to treat food borne illnesses such as E. Coli and salmonella, as well as the sexually transmitted disease gonorrhea.
Amoxicillin is usually the drug of choice in it's class because it is absorbed by the body better, meaning it is more efficient in treating the infection. It work by inhibiting the formation of the bacterial cell wall.

Serious Amoxicillin side effects:
- fever
- sore throat
- blistering or peeling of the skin, or rash
- nausea
- stomach pain
- low fever
- dark urine
- loss of appetite
- bloody or watery diarrhea
- weakness
- urinating more or less than usual
- agitation
- confusion
- seizure
Call your doctor immediately if you experience any of these side effects, or have an allergic reaction such as hives, swelling of the lips, face, tongue or throat, or difficulty breathing.
Less serious Amoxicillin side effects:- vomiting
- vaginal itching or discharge
- headache
- swollen, black, or "hairy" tongue
- thrush

Vaginal Itching and discharge
i absolutely cant take the itching. i feel weird even talking about it to my mom because its nothing i want anyone to know even though its not caused by anything negative. im actually gonna stop taking the pills because its unbearable :(

I only took one tablet at 11am went for a sleep and woke at 2pm with severe vomiting and a migraine. never again

I had stomach cramps, bad thoughts, and no appetite. The doctor says two weeks. On top of that I am taking antidepressants.
I will never take this drug again and suggest anyone else to find another antibiotic.
