I've never experienced such confused and erratic thoughts. I called my girlfriend a 'poisonous sow' because she was complaining that I was too ill to visit her. I had taken half my weeks course. I'd never called anyone names in anger in my life. |

I called my clinic, and asked if this is a side effect, but they seem to think it is not.
I being the Dr. that I am NOT, believe that it is a side effect. I don't get broken blood vessels any other time, and I rarely take medication. Maybe the blood vessels broke from the heightened blood pressure I may have been having due to the agravation (most definatly a side effect) I have been experiencing??? |

I started taking Amoxilillin 500mg on Monday night, and by Tues. morning, my left cheek was swollen. By Wed. night, I broke out in a rash on my lower left jaw. |

The use of this antibiotic led to my developing ulcerative colitis-or Crohn's (doctor not positively sure). I was fine before I took this drug. |

Extreme itching, red rash, that started as dots and then covered all limbs |

Worked perfectly for the bacterial infection, but 8 days after taking first pill I had an extreme reaction. EVERYTHING with the exception of my head and torso itched beyond belief (especially the feet) and I had red spots that turned into blotches on all limbs
Doctor said to wait it out since I was already done with taking the pills |

This obviously is alittle different then the amoxicillin that an adult would take but I have NEVER seen my son act in such violent acts in the night and not wanting to nap or go to sleep at night. |
